A canoe landing point on the
Goulburn River,
well off main roads, backed by cleared farms and hills.
The
camping area is suitable for RVs, camper trailers, caravans. Dog friendly, kept on a lead. Level, grassed ridge
well above (but with limited
views of) the river. Cleared and open with only 2 mature Red Gums there is little shade or privacy. There has been extensive planting around the boundary which will eventually improve the ambience.
A walking track leads down to bush covered river flats and the river.
The
camp itself is fairly level with room for around 15 vehicles/vans. Be very careful, as always when
parking near trees.
Trees and limbs may fall unexpectedly. Avoid camping under trees.
Stormy and windy weather increases the risk that trees and limbs may fall.
Walk-in tent camping is available nearby at the
Goulburn River
Camping Area 1. The 450m walking track starts from the east side of this
campground.
