A secluded
bush camp well off main roads by the headwaters of the Big River.
Dispersed level sites,
well shaded and separated by Tea-tree and Peppermint Gum, backed by steep forested slopes. The flats may flood and the black silt can be sticky if wet.
Wrens, tree climbers and kookaburras are common.
Well away from the other Upper Big River camps, the Snowy Road flats are popular with 4-wheel drivers.
