The new Logue Brook
Camping area (built 2015) has replaced the
camping on the banks of the dam. Each site is conveniently located to an Ablution Block and
Camp Kitchen. Book via the
Lake Brockman Tourist Park website (link provided in contacts).Five
camping loops, comprising 125
camp sites in total. Only the first two loops, Quokka and Bunuru, are open most of the year. There are sites suitable for tents, campervans, caravans and camper trailers. The sites have been compacted quite hard so hammering a tent peg in can be difficult, if not impossible.BYO potable
water, firewood (seasonal) and something to boil a billy on when you cant have a fire.There are five barbecue shelters with gas barbecues, food preparation surfaces and picnic tables with bench seats. They did not to include gas hobs for boiling kettles etc.... Each
camp site has a fire pit with a barbecue plate and a picnic table with bench seats. Fires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30, but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Wheelchair accessible long-drop
toilets and untreated
water are at each
camping loop. There are two
camp sites designed for wheelchair access. Generators are allowed between 8am - 9pm.Dogs are allowed on leash at all times.There is a sullage
dump point near
the entrance to the campground. The key is available from
Lake Brockman Tourist Park.The tourist
park also has a cafe open 10am - 4pm.There is a pleasant walk trail around the campground which follows the edge of the dam to the dam wall.
