Danggali Conservation
Park and Wilderness Protection Area is known for its vastness and wilderness appeal. The
park was classified as Australia's first Biosphere Reserve in 1977 in an effort to conserve the area's dense mallee scrubland.
The
park provides habitat to many semi-arid land birds which offer interesting opportunities for birdwatching. You may also see red and western
grey kangaroos grazing in the scrub.
Explore the walking
trails which feature relics of pastoral history, and enjoy the
park's serenity at night in one the designated
camping areas.
