Information

Third diversion dam adding water to Tooma - Tumut tunnel. The dam is a curved concrete gravity structure with a free overfall spillway capable of discharging 311 cumecs. Normal water diversion via the siphons is only 5.4 cumecs.
Memorial to 1931 Southern Cloud plane crash is up track on left before the dam. See map.
