The Munbililla (Tomato Island)
Camp is a stand-out very popular spot on the
Roper River. Fresh
water may be obtained from the
creek a few km west of the
camp.On-line booking is required. Great
campsite with lots of grass and shady trees. Facilities include
toilets, solar hot showers,
water, picnic tables, gas BBQ,
bins and
dump point.
No real area to fish from the bank apart from the
boat ramp. Perfect if you have a boat though. The manager was very accommodating.
