A location upstream on
Murchison House Station. 15 minute drive from station (high clearance 4WD and offroad camper trailers only - challenging access with trailers). Only open April - October. No specific
campsite area can be booked as visitors are free to go anywhere and
camp anywhere.
Ideal for camping with open flat area on the river bank under massive shady river gums. Low
embankment gives easy access to the water however river here will dry up towards end of season with just reeds and a trickle - not suitable for fishing or kayaking late in season.
Views to bank on other side with red rocky caves. Goats and cattle, kangaroos and birdlife (whistling kites, Indian ring neck parrots, butcher birds). Easy walk up or downstream river to other sites along river bank or River Road. Absolute
bush camping - no facilities. No mobile phone service.
NOTE: both spelling variations of Bully Pool and Bulli Pool are accepted/used by the Station owners.
