Mary Pool Rest Area Turnoff - WA

Sealed road access to designated 24hour camp area. Very popular with RVs and caravans arriving early to vie for the best spots however the river is only seasonal and in the dry season there is little more than a view over dried brown soil to a distant stream. Lots of birds and good shade from river gums with toilets, bins and dump point. Birdlife includes wrens, pelicans and lots of noisy correllas. Shady short walk on first lower bank around edge of high tide mark and can walk out on the old disused road & bridge.
