The lonely
grave of gold miner Richard Magoffin. This
grave is on the clay pan where Magoffin collapsed and perished from thirst. Sadly he was only a few hundred metres from the tree lined course of the Barcoo River; so close yet so far for Magoffin.
The track to the
grave site is hard to see. At the direction marker the track is slightly to the left, not the direction the
sign points to.
