Small
camp-site on the
Morgan River just North of the Mcivor River
Junction. Small
boat ramp cut into the river bank. No facilities and located on Hopevale land. Fishing is poor but it is a very picturesque spot with unique Palms lining the river.
Worth a look if you are passing that way, entrance is a small track off to the right a few hundred meters back from the
Morgan River travelling from
Cooktown.
Be prepared for Mosquitoes and Sand flies if the wind is down. Best time is the winter months.
