Bluewater Range Track is a 4wd track which starts at Forestry Road in Bluewater to the north of Townsville. At the end of the tar, keep following the dirt 4wd track which follows old logging routes in the
Paluma Range National Park.
This is a challenging track and high clearance/low range vehicles are essential. There are steep dropoffs and care needs to be taken. Blue Hills
Lookout provides a spectacular view of surrounding country.
As the condition of the track can be affected by bad weather conditions and some years ago it was closed to the public, it would be prudent to
check with Townsville City Council for any closure before leaving.
