Accessible from the formed gravel Buchanan Hwy at the start of
Jasper Gorge, this quiet National
Park campground offers
views of escarpments and a beautiful
creek (fishing but not swimming). The
creek winds behind the campground supporting the riverine vegetation and the area is home to many birds.Fire pits and composting
toilets are provided, no
water available - please be self sufficient. No mobile coverage - satellite phone recommended.12 designated sites to be booked online. No swimming as saltwater crocodiles inhabit this
park. The
Jasper Gorge picnic area (day use) is an 8km drive further south.
