Canna Dam - WA

Bush camping area set around two dams with plenty of space to find a campsite. The dams feature old stone and concrete water races that were used to channel water into them.A signed walking trail leads from the area through the surrounding bush, with wildflowers and orchids, including spider orchids, seen during the wildflower season.A walk up onto the nearby rocky outcrop offers a good spot for sunset.There are no facilities at the dam, so campers need to be self-sufficient. The ground and access can become boggy after rain. Telstra reception may be available. Bees can sometimes be found nesting in hollows in the surrounding trees.
