Enjoy a visit here to see a spectacular mountain view featuring the rugged
granite top of Mount Walsh. The
picnic area includes sheltered picnic tables,
toilets and non-potable water (no fires permitted). Track to
picnic area is unsealed and suitable for conventional vehicles and camper trailers. No overnight stays permitted. This is a national park area.
From here, experienced bushwalkers can take the track to
the summit. This is a grade 5 walking track and is very steep in parts and involves
rock scrambling. Do not attempt if you don't have hiking boots and are fit and experienced. Many inexperienced people turn back after 1 hour. Allow 4 hours return. No pets.
