Charlotte Plains is a family-owned, operated sheep station and campground, near Cunnamulla – Queensland. Our Artesian Hot Springs offer a naturally heated water park for guests wishing to soak in the warm mineral-rich water, while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.In addition to the Hot Springs, Charlotte Plains offers an authentic Australian outback experience, giving visitors a unique glimpse into life on a working sheep station. Guests can explore the property at their own pace with self-drive audio tours, and enjoy the rich diversity of birdlife and abundant wildlife around the campgrounds.Camping is the most popular option to immerse yourself – either at the Bore Campsite (Unpowered) by the Hot Artesian Baths or the Shearers Campsite (Powered) in the wide, open landscape. We also have accommodation options at the Shearers Quarters for those who prefer a ready-made bed and a roof over their head.Campfires are permitted at Charlotte Plains, and there is wood available for your own collection. Please do not take wood from the communal fire pit.We do not have defined campsites, as we want to give campers the flexibility to set up their campfires in a way that suits their group or individual needs. To help us maintain this freedom, please ensure you douse your campfire with water before leaving or going to bed.AMENITIES:Bore Campsite: Hot Artesian Baths, WIFI*, ablution block with 3 flushing toilets and 3 showers, 2 toilet/shower combo and several long-drops around the campsite, 2 communal BBQ’s.Shearers Campsite: Camp cooking utensils, shared laundry, WIFI*, 3 unisex flushing toilets, 2 unisex showers.Shearers Accommodation: Camp cooking utensils, shared laundry, shared kitchen, clean linen and towels, air conditioning, WIFI*, shared unisex bathroom with 3 flushing toilets and 2 showers.Merino Cabin: Kitchenette complete with refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and cooking utensils, bathroom, clean linen and towels, air conditioning, deck with a BBQ, WIFI*, shared washing machine available at Shearers Accommodation (only 100m away)*WIFI: 10 mins free WIFI, then paid service at $10 for 3 days. There is no 3G, 4G or 5G phone reception.
