Ubobo Discovery Centre - QLD

A camping, functions, and accommodation facility, offering a friendly welcome to all – individuals, families, work stays, and groups.The Centre is run by volunteers who are passionate about the valley, love to share a story or two, and take pride in the service they offer. Your stay will allow you to enjoy a relaxed get-a-way and be uplifted knowing you are making a positive impact on local people’s lives and contributing to the next chapter of the Boyne Valley story.The Discovery Centre offers a range of accommodation styles to suit your needs and budget and is run by caretakers. All share an immaculately clean ablutions block, a meet and greet pavilion, common eating area, camp kitchen and community room with TV and book exchange. All are wheelchair accessible. Laundry and drying facilities are available for hire on request. Mobile phone access is available but for Telstra customers only. WiFi FREE.All camping/caravan sites $15/pp. There is 2 ha of flat, shaded, or open sites for unpowered camping. However, as it is a rest and recreation reserve, there is only a limited number of powered campsites that will be prioritised to those with a medical certificate.
