This is a walk-in
campsite only located on the Bartle Frere trail.
Camping permits are required for
camping in
Wooroonooran National Park and along the Bartle Frere trail and fees apply. There are 4 designated
camping areas along the Bartle Frere trail. There is no
camping available outside of the 4 designated
camping areas. The Bartle Frere trail
camping areas each have a maximum of 8 people per night per
camping area with a maximum group size of 4 people. A
camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your
campsite.Big Rock
camping area is located on the eastern section of the Bartle Frere trail and is a 3km walk from
Josephine Falls carpark.
Fires are not permitted.
