This place is called larapuna part of the landscape extending south to Binalongu Bay, Eddystone point is a name given by English navigator captain Tobias Furneaux in 1773, aboard HMS Adventure, inspired by the famous lighthouse near Plymouth in the English Channel a further 100 years would pass before construction of a lighthouse here at larapuna.
