Connolly Dam Camping Ground - QLD

Just 20 minutes from Warwick on the beautiful Southern Downs, Connolly Dam campgrounds offer a beautiful bush setting campground on the banks of Connolly Dam.Pitch a tent, bring your swag or tow your caravan - these campgrounds cater for all. If you want to enjoy the dam itself there are multiple options available. Chase the mighty Murray cod and monster golden perch with rod and reel or even enjoy a quiet paddle in your kayak or even a refreshing swim - this site caters for everyone.Connolly Dam is home to 20 unpowered grass sites. There are no designated sites - all available on a first come, first served basis.Facilities include a toilet block with disabled facilities, hot showers (on a timer) and a dump point for caravans. Please note there are no pets or fires allowed. Southern Downs Regional Council operates this facility.Pre-booking campsites is currently not available. The site has a self-registration system and Council Officers visit daily to collect payments and check campers have registered correctly. Look for the registration box on site with self-registration camping forms.Use number to contact caretaker. No pets - no campfires - no glass bottles. No power boats (unless electric). Canoes and SUPs permitted. Fees are set yearly by council - check current rates online. 2025/2026 fees are:Adults: $15.25 pp/night Kids under 4: free Children 4-17: $8.20pp/night Family: $37.80/night
