Situated on the Birchip-Rainbow Road Kenmare is another of those little parishes that have suffered with the amalgamation of farms over the last 60 to 70 years. Whilst nothing much remains at Kenmare what it does have is one of the most beautifully preserved original School buildings. While not in use, it has been well preserved by the local people and the sports ground is also well used and maintained. Unfortunately the old tennis courts are dilapidated. A kilometre further east is the old Kenmare Cemetery.
