Mount Beerburrum, located in the Glass House Mountains National
Park, Queensland, stands 280 meters above sea level and is situated about 70 km north of
Brisbane. This volcanic plug, formed 26 million years ago, features a steep 1.4 km return summit walk that leads to a
fire tower and
lookout offering panoramic
views.The surrounding eucalyptus forests are home to native wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, and various bird species. The mountain holds cultural significance for the Gubbi Gubbi people, featuring prominently in their Dreaming stories.
