Information

Copper mine in the Adelaide hinterland. Began in the 1840's as an underground operation. Has had two stints as an open cutmine and currently underground again. Being subject to market fluctuations it is put on care and maintenance when price is low. One of scores of mines in the Adelaide Geosyncline. This one has enough gold and silver to assist viability.
