Situated in the heart of the mulga lands, Thrushton National
Park conserves a remnant of original vegetation within an area of extensive
clearing. Gazetted in 1990, the
park consists of flat, sandy plains and levees containing large stands of mulga and areas of spinifex with scattered ironbark, cypress pine and
kurrajong. Neabul
Creek, which flows through the
park, is lined with river red gums and coolibahs.Location
Thrushton is 40km north-east of
Bollon and 102km west of
