Small
campsite- ideal for one group (a couple of families).
No
toilets.
Fire pits and picnic tables provided.
Right on the banks of the Freestone
Creek, with easy access to the
water and swimming.
There's not a lot of shade over the
camp area so it might be a bit hot in summer, although the high cliffs on the north-west side of the
creek will mean it gets darker and cooler earlier than some
places.
There is walking track that runs through the
campsite and across the
creek. 4wd access across the
creek.
A small, pleasant river flat in a bend of the Freestone
Creek facing a 30m
cliff with dry sclerophyll forest above. Partially grassed on level gravel.
