Waltumba Campground - SA

Located within the Lake Gairdner National Park this is a remote and basic bush camp on the western fringe of a large salt lake. No dogs.No park entry fee, no camping fee and no booking required. However, access to the Wal­tum­ba Tank camp.ground is via the Stringer High­way towards Glendambo.Please be aware that this park is sur­round­ed by pri­vate prop­er­ties and pri­vate roads, please stay on the pub­lic and sign.post­ed tracks and roads.All roads and tracks in the area are unsealed grav­el or sand roads. Con­di­tions can change quick­ly depend­ing on the weather.A short hike of approx 1km leads from the camping area up a hill offering views over the salt lake.
