Part of the
Karijini national park, Hamersley gorge is very attractive gorge, providing an amazing example of rock folding. It has clean swimming holes and a few stepped waterfalls.Walk down to
the gorge is via rock steps. Steep but short. Once at the bottom you can swim through
the gorge or continue to clamber up and over the rocks on the right until you come to the
Spa Pool and even further behind to locate the stream that feeds it.Its a place that changes with the sunlight all day - a place you could spend a whole day. Very steep but short walk back up. There is a
lookout platform at the stop of the steps at the
carpark if you cant manage the hike.
