Mount Hodgson is a low, twin peaked feature a few kilometres west of Christies Crossing and the
Oakover River. The main track heading north to Woodie Woodie and Carrawine Gorge skirts around the southern side of the mount. To the east, a faint track located just on the eastern side of christies Crossing will take you to
Bocrabee Hill,
Tchukardine Pool and then
Rudall River National
Park (via
Hanging Rock). The tracks in the area are
well maintained alowing the local stations access to their
water points. There are ample stock (cattle), horses and feral
pests roaming the area.
