On the banks of the
recreation lake. Quite close to the Highway so expect some traffic noise. Walking trail around the lake with some art installations. Cost is $15 per
camp per night for maximum of three nights. However, only 2 or 3 of the 12 travellers actually paid. Update on noise: Not only do you hear the road all night, freight trains roll through. The first at 12:30am. We won’t plan to
camp here ever again due to the noise of the road, rail and lots of late (as in 2:00am) arrivals along with their associated noise!
Toilets at the
parking area but no showers.
