Information

"Big Spotty" is the world's tallest known spotted gum (Corymbia maculata), measuring over 70 meters tall and estimated to be 500 years old. Big Spotty is a vital habitat for endangered species, including the Greater Glider and Swift Parrot, and is considered a symbol of the need for old-growth forest protection.

Located 100m off into the bush off a dirt road in the North Brooman State Forest on the NSW South Coast, this massive tree is a focal point for conservation efforts due to its age and surrounding habitat.

This tree stands at 70.93 metres in height with a 11.7-metre girth at the base.

Park at this location and look for the track on the left to find the tree.
Roughly 100 metres into the bush.
