Marshall Rock is eight kilometres from the town of
Bencubbin. Marshall Rock was discovered in 1836, and a short walk to the top provides a 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside including; Lake McDermott,
Bencubbin,
Welbungin and Wiacubbing
Hill. Best viewed during the wildflower season for a patchwork of colour.
There is a
picnic area and
free camping is permitted in the area just below
