Mount
Malcolm is the largest feature on
Southern Hills Station. It is relatively easy to climb, although there is no regular public access as the main
gate to
Southern Hills Station is locked. Mount
Malcolm is in the southern extent of the Fraser Ranges, which crosses the Eyre Highway around half way between
Norseman and Balladonia.

New leaseholders have taken on
Southern Hills station and access to Mt
Malcolm is available via the old Telegraph Track. Permission should be sought to enter the station.
