Kurala River is a tidal waterway of Buckingham Bay in Arnhem Land. The river only sees freshwater flows in the Wet season. The estuary has high
rock banks but further upstream there are muddy banks and mangroves. The river is good for barra fishing at the end of the Wet season. Warning - salt water crocodiles!
