Great
campground located in the National Park surrounded by jarrah and marri by the edge of the Margaret River. No bookings required. A good base for exploring
Busselton and the Margaret River region. There are 9 camping sites with the toilets located right near the start. There is a large day use area and access to
the pool for swimming or kayaking.
Across the road from the main
campground entry is a firm sandy track which goes to the overflow camping area. This is a large
clearing with several sites around the outside. Would be good for a group who want to
camp together. No toilets located at the overflow area but the main
campground is only a 5 minute walk.
Drop
toilet,
bins and dogs permitted on a lead. Fire pits (fires usually permitted in the provided fire rings April 15 - Nov 30). BYO firewood. No water.
Very popular during school holidays and weekends October - April. Expect it to be busy when weather is warm.
Dirt road entrance with corrugations but is 2WD accessible.
Camp costs as per WA Parks & Wildlife standard fees: 2019 fees $8 adult per night, $6 concession, $3 child (5-16 years).
