Spacious and green with flushing toilets and non potable water. During the week it is often empty and filled with groups over the weekend. If campgrounds are your thing this is a nice one. Fires allowed in provided fire rings bring own everything and take rubbish out. Dogs allowed.Amamoor Creek camping area is 16km west of Amamoor township via Amamoor Creek Road. The last section of Amamoor Creek Road is gravel—suitable for two-wheel drive vehicles including campervans, motorhomes and vehicles towing caravans, trailers and camper trailers.Warning! Heavy rain can flood creek crossings. If it’s flooded, forget it! Wait it out. Flood waters in this area rise and fall quickly and are a hazard to life and property. Even in a small amount of water, the current can pick up your car and sweep you away.
