Camp ground run by Shire of
Ravensthorpe. Very
nice beach. Protected by an offshore reef, so very sheltered for the children to run around in. Lots of bird life (mostly wattle birds).
Marvellous Mason Bay is 38kms east of
Hopetoun and accessible by 2WD via Southern Ocean Road, which is a lovely scenic drive.
The
bush campground setting is right on the beach and has long drop
toilet facilities and dump points.
The
campground has no power (generators permitted) and you will need to bring your own drinking water as no potable water available.
Phone signal is intermittent. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life and social media!
On-line booking required prior to arriving. No registration at
campsite available.
Camp sites sheltered in bush and on edge of beach or set back in dunes.
