The loop follows a section of the stock route to
Wyndham used by Bullita and
Humbert River Stations. The Bullita Stock Route traces a loop circuit through jagged
limestone karst and
sandstone escarpments that once rumbled with the hoofbeats of cattle en route to the
Wyndham Meatworks in Western Australia.The total distance for the Bullita Stock Route is 92.6kms, including the 23kms return side trip to Drovers Rest. This equates to around 8 hours driving time when taking into account the slow-going rocky sections, jump-up and
creek and river crossings. The distance not including the return side trip to Drovers Rest is 70.2kms. Strictly high clearance 4WD only.
