Lake Albacutya Regional
Park in open Black Box woodland with no understory, backed by cypress pine, buloke, mallee and heathland. This
camping area has the advantage of sealed access from the town of
Rainbow and a considerable depth of vegetation but can be popular and potentially crowded. Sites are
well grassed. 10+ fireplaces and tables scattered over a considerable area.There is also one allocated horse
camp - please keep this available for trail riders passing through.No bookings, no fees. Amenities block offers flush
toilet, cold showers, picnic tables and rainwater
tank (not reliable).
Boat ramp is concrete.Note: there has not been any rain in
the lake for many years however birdlife remains active. Conditions can always change. Check local conditions and remember to add a review to note anything that has changed.
