Chilli Tuna and Lemon Linguine

  • 500g Linguine or other pasta
  • 300g Tuna drained (unless in oil, keep the oil)
  • 1-2 fresh Chillies or 1-2 t dried chilli flakes
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 x Lemon Rind & Juice
  • 1/4 C Olive Oil (or less if tuna in oil)
  • 2t Capers (optional) chopped
  • Parsley, as much as you like - we use heaps
  • Parmesan


  • Step 1Cook Linguine to your liking.
  • Step 2Meanwhile fork up the Tuna and mix in Chilli, Garlic, Lemon, Oil & Capers (if desired).
  • Step 3Drain pasta, reserving a couple of tablespoons of the water it's cooked in.
  • Step 4Mix this water back into the pasta (keeps it slippery & stops it sticking). Add tuna mix.
  • Step 5Mix thru parsley and top with parmesan.
  • Step 6Serve with a fresh green salad & perhaps some garlic bread. Enjoy :)
