Description
Finding your favourite muesli when travelling can be difficult. We mix our own and take a good supply with us when we are on the road. (note to make sure lids wont come loose if travelling over rough or corrugated roads).
Ingredients
1 x 750g packet of rolled oats
1 x 750g packet of quick cook oats
1kg of coarse-ground multigrain mix
4 tablespoons of all bran, rice and/or oat bran
dried fruit to taste - a good handful or more of sultanas, currants, chopped pineapple, paw-paw, dates, apple, apricot etc depending on availability.
seeds to taste - a couple of tablespoons each of sunflower, sesame, linseed, pepitos
2 tablespoons of coarse shredded coconut
Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Store in airtight containers.
