Hi
If they are free just try them yourself - no harm done, and then you'll know first hand if they are suited for your intended purpose. Other peoples opinion may not be relevant to your circumstances, though of course, handy nonetheless. Also can you provide a link to website?
Cheers
Greg

mmm..thats "Maps Galaxy" and not "galaxy maps"..plus it seems to be web based (for browsers - bit like Google maps) and not for "GPS units". Wasn't game to click on the free download/click to install button. It provides no information at all on what exactly it is except "Maps, Driving Directions, World Clocks and more. All in one toolbar." Possibly spyware/addware/malware. No thanks.
Cheers

DO NOT Click on MAPSGALAXY.
It is Spyware.
It attaches a Toolbar to "google" or "internet explorer" and monitors all your moves.
If you try and download and tick the box so as not to put a toolbar in the system it will bypass it.
If you have already done this then You must go to the Control Panel and select uninstall programs and remove ASAP

If that's the case then the moderators should remove the advertisement at the top of this page.

Hi
Mods cant remove adds. We have removed your link but weren't aware it is also an add on Exploroz. If it turns out to be OK (will investigate with D&M) will re-instate it, even though it doesn't appear to be the "galaxy maps" the subject of the OP's question anyway.
Cheers

Thank you to all who replied. I wanted to get more information before logging on to their website as I am not that familiar with a computer and all these sites that pop up.
