Agreed - low life scum
The reg is 17 SOUTH (WA) - the 1DYG-950 is the old plate...
That photo is to highlight the roof rack because it's not standard and easy to pick out from the crowd...

Dan, I know exactly how you must feel as I have been a Troopy owner for many years and currently own a 2002 model and if this was stolen I would be devastated.Although I am in WA I will keep a lookout as I travel around a fair bit.Maybe I should be hunting these b--tards instead of feral pigs as they are about the same use in a civilised community.

And what do you expect them to do, drop everything and all go out looking for it.

GET REAL.

The report will be circulated to all police stations and vehicles asking for a watch to be kept.

What else could they do???

Disco.

Great response lizard, very helpful. What has got up your nose about the police. Displaying your ignorance of the stolen vehicle reporting and notification system is enlightening. What you fail to understand is this vehicle is now on police systems nationwide. Unfortunately this vehicle will probably disappear, stripped for its accessories.
Heartbreaking for its owner. I agree with disco driver. However in the greater scheme of things it is stolen property only and the police generally have more important things to prioritise.

What's got up my nose ? It's the fact that these scum (when caught) get let off by the courts - because of their deprived upbringing ....the Police do have better things to do - they are tired of arresting the same people - so we all pay for it in higher insurance premiums .... a few of my friends are Police and they tell me some very interesting stories

So why have a go at the police? I was one for over 25 years I can tell you some stories that would make you want to punch holes in walls.

You do better venting upon the relevant law makers and those who interpret the law, they are always receptive and will implement changes to the law and judicial attitude in compliance with community expectations asap. LOL

I wasn't having a go at the Police , they are tired of the 'revolving door' court system as well ... well my mates are anyway .
and I have written to various politicians - and I think ASIO has a file on me - automatically opened when you write a letter (paper , not email) to a Federal memeber - questioning their stance on lenient sentences .... and contrary to what you write , they didn't seem receptive at all , I only got the 'party line' etc .....
