Woomera Prohibited Area

Hi All

For anyone planning on entering any areas that are covered within the WPA, (including the Anne Beadell Highway) make sure that you do your homework well in advance. This year will see some of the greatest closure dates with some very serious work being carried out by the Department

I have just put in my applications for some areas that we will be travelling through in August, so here's keeping my fingers crossed.

Cheers and will keep you informed.

Hi Andrew

I got hold of Rick, and as I expected, no problems. I have asked him to drop into work to see me next time they are down.

The issue now could be if they are doing any test when we go through, as like Glen from Woomera told me yesterday, it is right it centre of their work, so I have my fingers crossed.

Have a good time and keep cool.

See you when you get back.

Cheers

Hi Meridth

Sorry but the answer would be NO.

The tests that are going to happen must be fairly serious,as even the local station people that are close to the centre line of fire have to be out of their stations during daylight hours, so tells us straight away that it is something serious.

Cheers
