Hi all, has anyone been across the creek/river at
Coopers Creek (Stage 3 of Canoe trail) in the
Walhalla historic area and up the
Coopers Creek track and around to Bruntons
Bridge recently? Contemplating exploring the area in an Earthcruiser (truck body with camper on the back), just wondering how deep or tricky the
river crossing is and what the ascent up to Bruntons
Bridge road is like for such a vehicle. Haven't been there for a while so would appreciate some
feedback.
cheers
Mike

I did the crossing with a standard Triton, no
snorkel........about two months ago at a time where there had been significant rain. Water up to wheel arches. No problems, no difficulty. Just had to creep across because of typical river stones

Thanks Gideon. Are there any tight switchbacks once across the river and driving up to Bruntons
Bridge Road?

PS...... the only time I had to lock the front hubs was to do the
river crossing itself
