Hi all, it is with regret we will be leaving soon for greener pastures and will be handing the managment over to new people, we have enjoyed the contact we have had with you all through this wonderful and very professional website, the new guys will not be able to provide the information that we were able to give to all the wonderful people that used to ring us and call in but give them time and they will get to know the area better....
Although we have built it up a lot over the last 3 1/2 years the Doomadgee Roadhouse still "may" close at any time due to "community cultural" issues affecting it trading hours so regretfully please dont rely on it for your primary fuel supplies .......
And where do we go from here, all going well we will be "someware" up at Cape York, yes some may think we are lucky but YOU to can do it, dont get me wrong, it is hard and frusturating work at time but we have been to places most of you probally never will see, we have seen rock painting we cant tell you about, we have climbed a cliff face on a small remote island and looked eye to eye (skull) into a cave at 2 complete skeletons, of a mother and baby ...... and we have some awsome artwork as well ....
So........
If you are NOT a member, why not?????
You will be connected with the biggest group of like minded people with pricless information and you can ask a question and get a good (most of the time) answer, i think most "silly" answers are from non members hahah
Anyway we will not tell you "yet" where we will be but all going well we will be serving you fuel someware near the tip of Cape York .....
Enjoy your life in the citys folks :-)

Good luck to you and Mel and the kids Joe.
One chapter in the book closes and another one opens up.

Hope to catch up again one day.

Be nice to have a "resident expert" located on the Cape.

Good luck with the move.
