I have purchased a BMW motorcycle in Sydney and want to get it to Brisbane. I kknow there are freight companies but looking at alternatives. Just do not have the time to get there and ride it back at the moment. Appreciate thoughts outside the box.

Seriously why try and reinvent the wheel..... motorbike freight companies are the best to use, know what they are doing and have insurance.

You could use a general carrier but you risk the chance of damage and they don't use specialist gear to tie down.

Hi Graham,

As long as your insurance is in order, you might consider getting someone to ride it for you?

Google is your friend. There are many transport companies online.

Word of advice...... just be careful with Google as it could be a scam, best thing to do is phone one of the larger bike shops and ask them who they use.
