I was looking at buying an aftermarket suspension for my Isuzu Dmax however there are only a few options locally by ARB, TJM, Pedders etc, However I am also interested in the Sax suspension and EFS but they don't have stores in Darwin. I'm not interested in a comparison of which suspension is best as I'll make my own mind up on that.

I am looking at the viability of buying a suspension kit and having it freighted to Darwin. Is anyone able to recommend a good suspension installer in Darwin where I can get it installed?

Thanks for all replies in advance.

I had sax suspension freighted from Brisbane to Adelaide. No problems with the delivery and was really pleased with the service and the way they organised it all I couldn't be happier. Sandra is the lady I dealt with.

G'day Wolfy

Do you mind if I ask what vehicle you have and how would you rate the Sax suspension ? - as the Sax kit is what I'm looking at putting on my new Ranger Spacecab !

Cheers

Hey gazz, I've got a dual cab d40 Nissan Navara. I've had it on the car for two months now and been off road a couple times. I've got a tray back with a gitsham service body which weighs roughly round 400-600kg give or take depending on what I'm carrying. I use it for work everyday as a refrigeration mechanic. The handling with highway driving is a hell of a lot better and smoother. I did research for about 9months before laying out my hard earned cash! Hope this helps. Let me no if uve got anymore questions. Cheers Troy.

Thanks Troy

I had Ultimate in my GQ Patrol traytop - OME in both my GQ Patrol wagon and my last vehicle an RA Rodeo ute and was very happy with both Ultimate and OME. I am in construction and also own a 4wd tour company that specialises in outback Australia and whether I'm building or touring there is a lot of weight in my vehicles.

The 3SDS has taken my fancy but I haven't heard much about them from other people who have had the Sax installed. As you know it's a lot of money to fork out ( as is everything to do with 4wd's ) so I was just looking for a bit of feedback.

Thanks for your reply and hope you have a good run with the Sax !

Cheers

Purchase what suspension you want & get L&S Suspension to fit it in the Pinelands.

I guess that I could be a Guinea Pig then. I live in Palmerston and have just picked up a Sax kit for a Ford PX Ranger a few days ago that I ordered direct from them. As they stated that they currently don't have an Agent up here I was looking at someone to do the work. I didn't think of L&S, but have used them many years ago, so I'll call them this week. Too many other jobs to do otherwise I'd try it myself. I did approach someone else but the disparaging comment they made turned me off them, probably for good.

You can forget L&S, went there today. Won't fit other than their own, whatever that is.

FYI I had my local mechanic fit my saxs suspension kit. First time he'd fitted this particular brand and nothing but a-plus!
