Hi All,
A group of us is leaving for
Cape York in just over 2 weeks from
Sydney. Just enquiring if anyone has any info on any road closures or road conditions at this point in time?
Thought maybe some lucky people either reside in that area or have already made the trip up this year?
Thank you in advance,

Little bit confusing this one:
http://www.cairns.qld.gov.au/about-council/media-and-public-notices/public-notices/notices/niau
Council has placed a reduced, 3 tonne load limit on Niau
Bridge, Upper
Daintree Road,
Daintree.
Bridge refurbishment will be undertaken in the coming months.
Until repairs to the Niau
Bridge are completed, the
CREB track cannot be accessed. Closure signs are posted at the southern and northern extremities of the
CREB track. Fines apply for drivers ignoring the closure signs.
Motorists are advised to observe and obey the reduced
bridge load limit.
For more information, phone 4044 3044 or email
