Hello all,

We are looking at our first caravan. We are coming from tenting and rooftopping it so we are accustomed to outback travel. We recently looked at the Terra Sportz Caravan and for the price sure looked the deal. Is there anyone out there with any feedback on their ownership of a Terra Sportz by Nova? A quick search of the archive brought a few positive comments on Nova in general but not much on the Terra Sportz

Hi Chris & Ruth. I'll be interested replies as well. Currently looking at these myself. Haven't read a bad thing about them. Just a bit worried about the weight of them with a Prado. Cheers Jim.

At least the ones we looked at were all 2.4t unladen and 2.8t loaded as tagged. That puts it out of the range of the Prado I think. I believe the Prado is limited to 2500kgs and I would not tow near the max.

Only 400kg load rating? By the time you add water, gas bottles & gas you may be able to take a packet of tissues!

Hi Chris and Ruth,
We updated to a Nova Terra Sportz 19/6 in Sydney, December 2012, six months into our trip around this beautiful country. This is our second van. We had an extra water tank and pump and solar panel installed. We then continued our trip for the next six months in the new van, this included, Victoria Highlands and Tasmania. We are now back home in WA. We thoroughly enjoyed our new van for the six months we were on the road and could not fault the van. It did everything we were hoping for, so far so good. Very happy campers.
Regards,
Michael

Thank you to those that posted. We picked up our new Caravan 2 days ago. At the end of the day it was to hard to go past the Nova as ticked all of our requirements. We will post how we go with it over time.
