Never heard of them Thomo.

There is however a range of campers, including slideon's under the brand Travelander.

Hi Thomo,

If you are looking at the Travelander Slipon just be aware that anything below a Landcruser will need some beefing up in the suspension area. There are a few members here that have a Travelander and I'm sure they will add something here. I don't have one but have had the oportunity to look a couple over & really like them.

Hi Thomo,
Firstly I will state my bias - I have owned another slideon brand for the past 5+ years which I have been very happy with.

Originally I looked at the Travelander but selected another brand for the following reasons:
1. Australian Made. The Travelander is made in China with some final fitout done in Australia.
2. Weight. The overall weight was higher than alternative Slideons.
3. Reputation. Had some first-hand very negative comments about problems and aftersales support from current Travelander Owners.
4. Price. There are (in my opinion) better priced alternatives available.

Now hopefully you will get some positive responses from current owners on this forum, but make sure you do your homework and investigate some of the many other brands now available.

Cheers, Geoff

G'Day Thomo, after visiting many Camping Shows, my partner and I purchased a Travelander Slide-on a year ago, and we could not be happier.
We are unable fault the fit out, the quality of materials, electrical and plumbing components, fridges and back up service.
The unit is easy to set up and simple to pack up.
We have camped at beaches, mountains and streams; where most trailers or vans cannot park.
The Camper is very happy on the back of our Cruiser; the rear suspension has air bags fitted.

Cheers,
Peter.
