We have recently spent 11 nights at Lorella - the owners, Rhett and Fi and their staff are welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for day trips from the
homestead and trips further afield. We did a number of day trips to lovely spots - billabongs for fishing and pools for swimming -
Hidden pools,
teardrop falls, Tallawah pools, Inkspot, to name but a few. We did one 'tag along' to help with making a new track - good fun and amazing how quickly a number of vehicles and people helping can make a workable track. It is one of the very few
places where you can relax, explore, 4x4 drive, bush walk, fish etc without lots of rules and regulations - hopefully people will respect this and help to look after the environment. We spent 5 nights out at Rosie's fishing
camp - towing a camper trailer - the road is quite accessible. Rosie's was a real highlight with catching lots of large queenies from the river bank at the
camp. We ate a couple and released most.
